Whats on at Penn Bowling Club
Penn Bowling Club offers more than just Crown Green Bowling , we offer a fantastic social calender throughout the year.
In spring we have a comedy night held in the function room , a night filled with laughter from the countries top comedians.
In May we have our Annual Beer Festival, a weekend packed with live music and over 30 real ales and ciders. Hot food is available all day. This is a free event and we welcome none members to join us.

On August bank holiday Sunday we have our Charity Fun Day where there are bouncy castles, toddler soft play centres, face painting and nail art, sweet stalls , market stalls selling gifts, raffles and tombola's all raising money for local charities. The day is also filled with music from local artists This day is also a free event and is open to none members, everyone is welcome.
On Bonfire night, Penn Bowling Club has its fantastic firework display and is said to be the best display in the area, there is a BBQ and is a very popular event with the local community. This is a free event and open to the public.
In December we hold our Children’s Christmas Party. Members children and grandchildren are invited for a day of festivities, we have children’s entertainers, sweet stall, face painting and nail art. A hot lunch is also included for all children, before meeting Santa who gives them all a present to take home.
New Years Eve is always a popular event at Penn Bowling Club. Held in the function room there is live entertainment to bring in the new year, either being a live band or DJ. This is a ticket only event.
Penn Bowling offers a family friendly atmosphere, whether that be during our main events such as our Beer Festival, Charity Fun days, Football matches or even a relaxed day watching a local Bowls competition in our beer garden.
